Today my class went on a school trip to Ilminster school Gisborne where we got to watch a play they made called green team. We went after morning tea and we came back a lunch.

This week and the last week of term 3 we have been working on Frida Kahlo art.
Frida Kahlo is an mexican artist and she is known for her self portraits of her self and did you know that her face is on the Frida Kahlo is on the 500 pesos.
I enjoyed it because I liked making the flower even though it was a bit hard.
Next time I would try a different colour for the background so it would stand out a bit more.
This week I was learning how to infer.
This week I have been reading deep ark 6 it is about a boy and he live two thousand metres underwater and he has never seen the sun and his dad runs a underwater zoo that has snacks, spiders and has got the worlds most venomous.
Next time I would make it look better so people would get hook in and I would try work faster.

Today I was doing the Amazing race episode 3.
I found it hard to do the first challenge.
My favorite challenge was the spot the difference.
The first challenge was you had to make a statue that look the a person and we had to use 5 different materials . the second challenge was we had to translate some words unto english. the last challenge that I did was spot the difference.

Today me and my mum were doing science experiments.
The experiment we did was when you put milk in a bowl or a plate then add different food colouring to the milk. Then you get a cotton bud and put a bit of dishwashing liquid on it. After you put the dishwashing liquid on the cotton bud you can put the cotton bud anywhere you like. The dishwasher liquid pushers the food colour and it colours the milk.
The colours I use was green purple and gold.

Today I was doing an escape room were we did the math question then we got a letter at the end we put it on a slide then it would spell out a word the word was math master.
I found it hard to do some of the questions so I ask my sister and brother.
The other day I made pizza for my family's dinner.
For my pizza I put pineapples, spaghetti, and cheese. For my mum I put some tomatoes in a corner and I put a little bit of onion.

I found it hard to think of some word for the life in your bubble worksheet that start with x,y and z.

I found it hard to keep it standing up because it kept falling down.

Today for science I was making a fizz inflator.
How it works? when you put baking soda and vinegar it makes carbon diox then it will blow up the balloon.
I noticed that my balloon was on an angle because i didn't put it on propoly.
I found it hard to put the venger in the bottle be every time i would i would alway spill it.
Next time I would ask my mum or dad if they can help me put the balloon so it is in the center of the bottle.

Today for one of my task I had to do the amazing race challenges. We did it with our family. My favorite challenge was the boo shacking challenge my mum was a pro at it. My dad did the challenge were you had to find 10 word out of one word which was geothermal. My sister did the word find and we all did the obstacle course were you had to skate with hole a bucket full of water then you had to go under the bush the you had to though the little ladder then under the big ladder and last bit you had to swerve though the shovels and rakes then run to my mum that was recording.

Today for re we were learning about Faith and Trust.
I had to make a Word cloud and in that word cloud we had put synonyms of faith and I could put words from the story then put it on our word cloud I made the words in to the shape of a f for faith because that is what I was learning about.
I found it hard to think of some words to put on my word cloud.
Today for one of my task I had to choose an active and make it or do that active. My active was build a fort, I built my fort using tree leaves and tree branches that my dad cut down then at the front I use some stones and a blazer for a fire. I put a stick to hold up the middle area and I use 2 sawhorse for the sides.
This week I was learning how to paragraph I had to stuck to one topic, My first sentence is my topic sentence, I have add 2-3 supporting details and my last sentence is a concluding sentence.

He went to Dartmouth college, he grew up during world war 1. As a scout he sold war bonds and he suffered from stage fright because he got bullied on stage. He would sometimes skip speaking on stage.
Adulthood:
Dr Seuss when to Dartmouth and Lincoln college he worked as a vanity fair and other publication as an illustrator, after Dr Seuss wrote a series of humour books he wrote a kids book and tried to publish but it got rejected by more than 30 publishers. Dr Seuss met his wife in Europe during world war 1.
Dr Seuss got most of his ideas from dooling. Dr Seuss wrote more than 60 books in his lifetime. Dr Seuss favorite character was cat in the hat
Today one of my lockdown task was a puzzle of two seals.
I had to click on a puzzle link and then it would take us to a puzzle site and then we started the puzzle the challenging thing for me was I didn't know what the puzzle was so it made it bit of a challenge my puzzle was two seals I liked the puzzle because seals and my favorite animals. The puzzle took me 1 minute to finish. This is my puzzle.

I found it hard to think of words to put on my word cloud and then decide on colours to use for the background and the word so it is easier to see.

I had to listen to the story and then I had to find some words about it and use word cloud to put the words on. I did black for the background so the word stands out a bit better. I used bright colour which were lime, pink, baby blue and yellow for the words. You could also change the shape of it so I did M for Mary.

Valerie Adams' sister is a Paralympics shot putter and discus thrower. Valerie’s brother Steven Adams plays for the NBA and her two other brothers play professional basketball in New Zealand. Her personal record is 21,24 meters.
At the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, she won a gold in shot put and then at the 2012 Olympics in London she got another gold. At the Rio Olympics in 2016 she got a silver and then 5 years later at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo she won a bronze in shot put.

I have only done the background because I have been away and I didn't understand. I should have watched the tutorials on our class site. That's what I'm going to do now. So far I have created my background and boundary so the characters don't fall through or go too wide.

I found it challenging to make my snowman look like a normal snowman. I also found it hard to make it a good circle and find the colours to make it look more real, I had to restart because i forgot to save it so when you try make sure you save it.

Last Monday my class went to the Museum of Technology, we were learning about old technology that our grandparents use when they were little it also connect with my reading tacts. As we were looking at all the old technology we had to do a Scavenger Hunt we had to look at the photos then we had to find it and put where we found it, or what it was used for. In my group there was Luke, Mya, Kylah,Olivia H and Myself, we had to work together as a team to finish the Scavenger Hunt. I have been before so they followed me to the areas and then we would look for the answer. I enjoyed going on the school bus and looking at the fire truck, here at some photo of my group on the fire truck.
