Deep Ark 6 part 2

For the past 2 weeks I have been reading a book about deep ark 6 it is about a boy that lives underwater and has never seen the sun.

I was learning how to infer. 
I found it hard to find the problem because I through something else was the problem.
Next time I would make more colourful.

 

Deep Ark 6 Part 1

This week I was learning how to infer.
This week I have been reading deep ark 6 it is about a boy and he live two thousand metres underwater and he has never seen the sun and his dad runs a underwater zoo that has snacks, spiders and has got the worlds most venomous.
Next time I would make it look better so people would get hook in and I would try work faster.
I enjoyed it because I got to work with my group.

Social justice week 2021

This week I have been learning how to identify the characters and/or author's point of view.
I enjoyed doing the one where we found a photo of an animal that matches the beatitudes.

Next time I would try to work faster.  
When I was doing this task I did it with my reading group visit there blogs here Seddon, Jake, Kali, Charlie and Cameron. 

Design thinking

This week I was learning to summarise around multiple text.
I found it hard to think of a problem that a robots could help with.
My digital learning objects shows that I can use google slides. 

This week we were making robots that can help any problem in the world, after we thought of a problem we had to think of what the robots would to to help the problem and how it would do that after we did that we made our robot we could draw it of make it on our slide. My robot looks like a train but it is a cage that has water and food that the animal in side and after it has the animal inside the cage it will take the animal to the vet or a place it can go to get better and then when it is time to put it back in the wild it will take them to a safe place for them to go. 

Olympic Games

 This week, I was learning to skim and scan.
I enjoyed learning about the olympics.
I found it hard to find out what they did for the opening ceremony.
My digital object shows that I can embed a slide.

Matariki

 This week I have been learning compare and contrast.
I found it challenging to think of thing to but on the slide I did it with me reading group you can vist there blogs here Seddon, Kail, Charlie, Jake and Cameron.

Next time I will change the background and the colour of the words.

Perseus

This week I was learning to infer. Inferring means the story has the clues but not the answer. Our task this week was to create a character profile on Perseus, Perseus is from the story we were reading called Medusa- the Quest of Perseus. Below is what my group came up with. 

Next time I will change the colour of the background and and the word colour to some more seeable.
I enjoyed reading Perseus and learning what he did.
I found it hard to think of a background colour that would stand out the colors.

Samoa Activities

 This week is Samoa language week and we had to do a slide about it we had to read the text before and then complete change after it.
I found it challenge to do the history of Samoa  to mach what it was.

Wojtek

This week I was learning how to summarise. We were reading about animal war heroes. I was surprised to read that a bear helped out in the war so I chose him to write about.
I enjoyed learning about Wojtek and how he help the soldiers. I found it challenging to think of some facts. Next time I would change some of the photos and some of the facts because the photos are blurry from the olden day cameras. I think the facts weren't really WOW enough.

My Storm/ Tornado shelter

 This week I was learning to make connections between what I read.
I enjoyed Making it and see that you don't really need a lot of stuff and it a bit like camping.
I found it challenging to think of some stuff that you will need for a tornado shelter.
Next time i will change some of the stuff and Next time I wound add a bit more stuff.  

Sea week

This week I was learning to make connections between what we read. 

I enjoyed learning about it and How rubbish is in our oceans and how there is a island that is full of rubbish.

I found it challenging to make a gif and also finding facts about plastic.

My digital learning object shows that I can make a gif using tall tweets.   

Next time I would change the background to a background to match what the fact is.

Who dunnit? The missing laptop

This week we were learning to make connections between what we read.

We were being detectives there was a fingerprint expert, handwriting expert and fiber expert and we were all powder expert.

I enjoyed finding out who did it and learning about different fingerprint and how people have different handwriting.

International joke day

International joke day is on the 1st of July. It was designed as to start the second half of the year with a smile or a chuckle. It has been created back in 1994 by an american author who wants to sell his jokes books. They say that the idea seems to have caught on and now people have shared jokes, stories, riddles or poems and even funny videos every year online. 

I learned that there is a international joke day. 

I enjoyed learning about international joke day and how it was invented
