Amazing race part 2

 Today for one of my lockdown task was amazing race episode two.
I found it hard to do the paper fold because the insinstructions were good to follow.
I enjoyed doing the drawing task because it was a challenge and the snow looks like the birds.

Wellbeing task

 Today for one of my task I had to roll a dice and whatever number it added on I had to do that task.
The task that I did was be kind to any 4 legged friend in the house, draw a square and write in the middle something your proud of and the last one draw around you hand and in the middle of your hand drawing write something you achieve today.
I found it hard to draw around my hand by myself.
Next time I will do some more task.

The great outdoors

Today I was learning about New Zealand birds and other animals.
I found it hard finding the information. 
I enjoyed it because I got to learn something new.

What I did was I found something on a slide then I had to do 2 of more questions and did that to all of them.

Online Writing book

 This week I was learning how to summarise and structure. 
I found it hard to think of some word for the life in your bubble worksheet that start with x,y and z.
I enjoyed doing the bubble profile.

3D shapes

Today I was learning about 3D shapes.
I found it hard because i didn't know what shapes to do.
Next time I will try do more 3D shapes then what I did this time. 
I enjoyed it because I got to learn new shapes.

Andy Goldsworthy Nature art

 Today I was learning about Andy Goldsworthy nature art.
Andy Goldsworthy inspired my art work.
My art work is call bush.
I found it hard to keep it standing up because it kept falling down.
I enjoyed finding the plants and the leaves and the stick that are holing it up.

Fizz inflator

 Today for science I was making a fizz inflator.
How it works? when you put baking soda and vinegar it makes carbon diox then it will blow up the balloon.
I noticed that my balloon was on an angle because i didn't put it on propoly.
I found it hard to put the venger in the bottle be every time i would i would alway spill it.
Next time I would ask my mum or dad if they can help me put the balloon so it is in the center of the bottle.

The Amazing Race

 Today for one of my task I had to do the amazing race challenges. We did it with our family. My favorite challenge was the boo shacking challenge my mum was a pro at it. My dad did the challenge were you had to find 10 word out of one word which was geothermal. My sister did the word find and we all did the obstacle course were you had to skate with hole a bucket full of water then you had to go under the bush the you had to though the little ladder then under the big ladder and last bit you had to swerve though the shovels and rakes then run to my mum that was recording.

Faith

Today for re we were learning about Faith and Trust.
I had to make a Word cloud and in that word cloud we had put synonyms of faith and I could put words from the story then put it on our word cloud I made the words in to the shape of a f for faith because that is what I was learning about.
I found it hard to think of some words to put on my word cloud.

Outdoor active

 Today for one of my task I had to choose an active and make it or do that active. My active was build a fort, I built my fort using tree leaves and tree branches that my dad cut down then at the front I use some stones and a blazer for a fire. I put a stick to hold up the middle area and I use 2 sawhorse for the sides.

Dr Seuss

This week I was learning how to paragraph I had to stuck to one topic, My first sentence is my topic sentence, I have add 2-3 supporting details and my last sentence is a concluding sentence.
I found it hard to find thing about his childhood and his adulthood.

Dr Seuss 

Full Name: Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr seuss)

Date of Birth: 2 march 1904

Place of birth: Springfield, Massachusetts, United states.

Died: 24 september 1991.

Famous for:writing children books like cat in the hat, Green eggs and ham most of dr seuss books also rhymed.

Childhood:

He went to Dartmouth college, he grew up during world war 1. As a scout he sold war bonds and he suffered from stage fright because he got bullied on stage. He would sometimes skip speaking on stage.

Adulthood: 

Dr Seuss when to Dartmouth and Lincoln college he worked as a vanity fair and other publication as an illustrator, after Dr Seuss wrote a series of humour books he wrote a kids book and tried to publish but it got rejected by more than 30 publishers. Dr Seuss met his wife in Europe during world war 1.

Dr Seuss got most of his ideas from dooling. Dr Seuss wrote more than 60 books in his lifetime. Dr Seuss favorite character was cat in the hat  

Puzzle

Today one of my lockdown task was a puzzle of two seals.
I had to click on a puzzle link and then it would take us to a puzzle site and then we started the puzzle the challenging thing for me was I didn't know what the puzzle was so it made it bit of a challenge my puzzle was two seals I liked the puzzle because seals and my favorite animals. The puzzle took me 1 minute to finish. This is my puzzle. 

Design thinking

This week I was learning to summarise around multiple text.
I found it hard to think of a problem that a robots could help with.
My digital learning objects shows that I can use google slides. 

This week we were making robots that can help any problem in the world, after we thought of a problem we had to think of what the robots would to to help the problem and how it would do that after we did that we made our robot we could draw it of make it on our slide. My robot looks like a train but it is a cage that has water and food that the animal in side and after it has the animal inside the cage it will take the animal to the vet or a place it can go to get better and then when it is time to put it back in the wild it will take them to a safe place for them to go. 

Mary's Ascends To Heaven

Today I was Learning about Marys ascends to Heaven.
I found it hard to think of words to put on my word cloud and then decide on colours to use for the background and the word so it is easier to see.

I had to listen to the story and then I had to find some words about it and use word cloud to put the words on. I did black for the background so the word stands out a bit better. I used bright colour which were lime, pink, baby blue and yellow for the words. You could also change the shape of it so I did M for Mary. 

Valerie Adams

This week for writing I was learning to paragraph, stuck to one topics, My first sentence is my topic sentence, I have added 2-3 supporting details and my last sentence is a concluding sentence. I was writing about Valerie Adams my first paragraph was about Valerie Adams. my second paragraph was about her childhood and the last paragraph was about her medals and after the last paragraph we did wrote about her medals.

Valerie Adams 

Valerie Adams competes in the women's shot put. She was born on the 6 of october 1984,

in rotorua New Zealand. She started shot put when she was 14 years old. 

When Valerie Adams went to Southern Cross campus. Valerie Adams’ mum died from cancer when Valerie was 16 years old. Valerie Adams' dad was an Englishman who settled in New Zealand. Valerie Adams' sister is a Paralympics shot putter and discus thrower.  Valerie’s brother Steven Adams plays for the NBA and her two other brothers play professional basketball in New Zealand. Her personal record is 21,24 meters.

At the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, she won a gold in shot put and then at the 2012 Olympics in London she got another gold. At the Rio Olympics in 2016 she got a silver and then 5 years later at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo she won a bronze in shot put.

Valerie Adams won her first World Championship when she was only 16 years old.

This week I was learning how to summarise.
I found it hard to find how to use Kūmarahou
I enjoyed learning what Kūmarahou helps you with and how you can use it.

This week I was learning how to skim and scan.
I found it hard to find fact about the people but my teacher miss naden help me find some facts about the people.
