Today for science I was making a fizz inflator.
How it works? when you put baking soda and vinegar it makes carbon diox then it will blow up the balloon.
I noticed that my balloon was on an angle because i didn't put it on propoly.
I found it hard to put the venger in the bottle be every time i would i would alway spill it.
Next time I would ask my mum or dad if they can help me put the balloon so it is in the center of the bottle.
Here is a photo of the fizz inflator.

Hola Olivia,
ReplyDeleteWell done for making this science experiment work. Why does carbon dioxide blow up the balloon?
Maybe you could alter the experiment and answer these questions?
Does water temperature affect how fast the balloon fills up.
Does the size of the bottle affect how much the balloon fills?
Can the amount the balloon fills-up be controlled by the amount of vinegar or baking soda?

ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you have given this a go all by yourself. It's great you had all the items at home to try this experiment. Do you know why the carbon dioxide is inflating the balloon? I look forward to visiting your blog again soon.

Well done on your balloon fuzz inflator Another challenge was trying to find a balloon and a bottle, this part took over an hour of searching to find these resources. Lets plan to purchase some more vinger and baking sode to test out the temperature and bottle size. Thats sounds fun.
