Dear Taylor

I am writing to you today for allowing my school year 5 and 6's come to the Aquatic Centre.

One of my highlights was the lazy pool and the deep pool I really enjoy jumping into the deep pool.

So thank you taylor for letting us come to the Aquatic center. We couldn't have gone there if it wasn't for you. My school would not be able to go there. You are a super heroe of 2020.

thank you so much

International joke day

International joke day is on the 1st of July. It was designed as to start the second half of the year with a smile or a chuckle. It has been created back in 1994 by an american author who wants to sell his jokes books. They say that the idea seems to have caught on and now people have shared jokes, stories, riddles or poems and even funny videos every year online.

I learned that there is a international joke day.
I enjoyed learning about international joke day and how it was invented

Math Emoji

this week my math group were making these math emoji
the ones that are red are right but it was a little bit broken.

weta

Wetapunga are insects and endangered, but auckland zoo are breading them. there are more then 70 species of weta. there over 50 species of cave weta.

Weta have antenna that is longer than its body it is so they can feel there they are going and where there food are. When weta come out of there egg they can be the size of a grain of rice. weta look like a big strong grasshopper or crickets with long antennae.

you can find them in forest, caves, under stones, logs, and in trees. you can find them in hieing spots that is because they don't want to be eaten by other animals. Now there are four island that only have weta and insect for the weta to eat.

Weta can break into three parts. Giant weta can grow up to 28 gms in weight and about 60mm long. wetapunga have long legs and can help them climb trees for safety. Nelson alpine weta is a very shy weta which hides in burrows during the day and comes out to feed at night.
